It started with a journal.
Dear Little Song began the way most quiet things do — privately. I started writing songs from my journal entries, taking the messy, specific details of my life and turning them into music. It showed me something I can't unsee.
When a song is specific — when it knows your name, the small thing you said that nobody else heard — it does something a generic song never can. It feels like being seen.
And here's the fun part: a good song sticks. You catch yourself humming it in the shower, singing it in the car, getting it joyfully stuck in your head for days. Imagine that song being about you — or about someone you love. That's the magic we're chasing.
So I wanted to make that for other people. For the new baby on the way. For the friend who just got a hard diagnosis. For the kid whose favorite color is "all of them." For the person who needs to hear their own story sung back to them.
Got journal pages, letters, or words you've already written about someone? We can turn those into a song, too.
That's Dear Little Song.
